Services for Arthur Bain Yesterday
Died In Des Moines Sunday Evening In Garage – Death Was Due to Gas Fumes From Running Motor
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of Mrs. Kitchen, for Arthur Baine, a nephew, age 54 years, who died in Des Moines Sunday evening from gas fumes caused by his auto running in a closed garage.
The body was found Sunday evening by a neighbor.
Funeral services were held in Des Moines at the Hamilton Funeral home Tuesday afternoon after which the remains were brought to the Kitchen residence in Monroe.
The services yesterday were in charge of Rev. A. D. Mohr, pastor of the Monroe Baptist Church, after which the remains were interred in the Monroe cemetery at the side of the deceased father and brother, who preceded him in death several years ago.
Arthur Baine was born in Monroe but for the past number of years he has been a resident of Des Moines.
