Services to be Held
Services for Kenneth LeRoy Armstrong, 58, of Newton will be held Friday, September 28, 1990 at 1:30 at the Wallace Pence Funeral Home in Newton. Mr. Armstrong died Sunday on a plane over Las Vegas on the way home from California.
The Minister Reverend Bill Van Patten of the Church of Nazarene in Newton will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife Inez M. Armstrong of Newton, 1 daughter, Kay L. Banner of Iowa Falls, 4 step–daughters all of Newton; Cindy L. Swisher, Sandy K. Reynolds, Candy M. Halferty, and Belinda I. Bingham, 5 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Bill R. Armstrong of Texas, Harold W. Armstrong of Missouri, 2 sisters Shirley L. Talor of Monroe and D. Joan Mathews of Pella.
He was preceded in death by parents, a daughter, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Born to parents Everett H. and Ruth I. Wood Armstrong on March 25, 1932, in Newton, Mr. Armstrong attended the Monroe Schools. He was a resident most of his life of Newton. He married Inez M. Camp Bingham on June 17, 1977 in Newton.
