Services Held
Madge E. Cooper Allbaugh, 76, of 524 W. 5th St. S., a resident of Newton for three years, died May 6, 1991, at the Newton Health Care Center of pneumonia.

Cremation followed death.

Burial will be at a later date in the New York Cemetery in Corydon.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at the Reese Funeral Home.

Survivors are a son, William J. Kendall, of Reasnor; a daughter, Betsy Kay (Mrs. Tom) Miller of Newton; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great–grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
Mrs. Allbaugh, a waitress and bartender, had worked for many years in various places in Omaha.

The daughter of James F. and Clara Gillman Cooper, she was born July 16, 1914, in Wayne County and was graduated from Corydon High School.

She was married to Clifford Allbaugh in 1943.
Mrs. Allbaugh had lived in Council Bluffs for 40 years prior to moving to Newton.
