Life Story Of Leo Allard
Funeral services for Leo Allard, 63, of near Monroe, who died July 10 at the Des Moines Veterans Hospital, were held July 13 from the Assembly of God Church in Knoxville. Burial was in the Dunreath Cemetery.
The son of Oda and Elmira Allard, he was born and raised in Knoxville.
He is a retired employee of the Veterans Hospital in Knoxville.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Kincaid of Altoona; a stepson, Robert McKinney of Des Moines; four grandchildren; two brothers, john Allard of Winfield and James Allard of Rock Island, Ill.; and five sisters Mrs. Marie Kite of Davenport, Mrs. Eula Baughman and Mrs. Gladys McDonald of Knoxville, Mrs. Frances Benscoter of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Walskes of Rock Island, Ill.
