James A. Jenkins passed away at home with his family on Feb. 6, 2016, at the age of 80 years. Born in Newton, Iowa, to Dan & Aura Jenkins. He retired from Leach Camper Sales. Previously drove a Lincoln city bus, was in the food service industry 20 years. and was a 25 year member of Moose Lodge. Enjoyed fishing, cards, bingo, western books and hunting morel mushrooms.

Survivors: wife Annette (Rogge). Brothers; Bill and Dean, Iowa. Sons; Jimmy (Kathy), Arkansas and Richard Phipps, Iowa. Daughter; Terri (Dan) Shiel, Texas. Step-sons; John (Connie) Mahaney, Alex (Kathy) Strickland, Lincoln. Step-daughters; Connie Thompson, Wyoming, Christina Neely, Arizona, Diana Miller, Cynthia Lorenzen, Lincoln; 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by parents, second wife, Barbara,(DeHaai/Mahaney), brother Dan, sisters: Alma Rodgers, Lucille Wolfe, step-son Jimmy Mahaney.
