As per Nancy’s wishes she has been cremated and there are no services scheduled.

Nancy C. Britt Graves, 73, of Newton; formerly of Marshalltown died on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Newton.

Nancy, the daughter of James O. and Helen R. (Blankenship) Britt, was born in Ranger, Texas.

Nancy worked in housekeeping at the Iowa Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown.

Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her children, Clayton (Judy) Graves of Marshalltown, Billy (Christy) McMinn of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa (James) Gaines of Sherman, Texas, Rose Graves of Waterloo and Steven (Pamela) Graves of Newton; many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, her brother, Jerry Britt of Midland, Texas; and her sister, Dorothy Sear of Lawn, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Jimmy and Paul Graves; brother, Billy Gene Britt; and sister, Marie Fowler. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa Tues 26 Jan 2016.
