Cathi "Diane" Price (1956 - 2015)

"Diane" Price, 59, of Gilman, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2015 in the comfort of her own home with her loving family by her side.Cathi "Diane" Peterson was born on June 28, 1956 in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil and Darlene (Kellogg) Peterson. She graduated from LDF High School in 1974, and Marshalltown Community College as a Medical Assistant. On December 20, 1975, Diane married Jay Price. They raised three children: Mindy, Matt and Shelby.

Diane was employed with the Newton Foot Clinic for 20 years. She loved her Cyclones, playing cards, planning family gatherings, country music, and spending time with her family. Diane truly enjoyed celebrating life, as she always said, "Live, Laugh, LOVE"!

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jay Price; children: Mindy (Perry) Himes, Matt (Blair) Price and Shelby (Paul) Collins; one grandchild: Addison Price; three siblings: Darla, Lisa, and Pete.

She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Peterson; grandparents: Acil (Norma) Kellogg and Thomas (Mildred) Peterson.

Funeral services for Diane will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Ferguson Christian Bible Church. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home.
