Clifford A. Foreman, 85, of Newton, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at his stepson’s home in rural Monroe. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at the funeral home. Memorials to the Izaak Walton League may be left at the funeral home.

Cliff worked for the Newton Police Department for 18.5 years. He then worked for the Jasper County Sherriff’s Office for 10 years and the Colfax Police Department for nine years.

After he retired from law enforcement in 1992, Cliff worked as a delivery driver for Domino’s in Newton for 23.5 years.

Those left to honor Cliff’s memory include his step-children, who lovingly referred to him as “Pop,” Donald (Sue) Kelso, Patsy “Luanne” Harl, Sheryl (John) Gordon and Rodney L. Kelso; his biological children, Debbie, Mike, Jim, Kelly and Jeff; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and anyone who has ever ordered a Domino’s pizza. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa 11 Dec 2015.
