Ella Mae Beals, 93, of Springfield, formerly of Colfax, IA, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
She was born June 6, 1910, in Colfax, the daughter of Mel and Anna Lester Ward. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are two sons, Stanley (Helen) Beals of Springfield and Norman (Linda) Beals of Colfax; a daughter, Kathryn (Don) Gullion of Colfax; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Walters Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax. Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
