William A. Watts Services Saturday

Will A. Watts, 75, of 911 W. 8th St. N., a longtime resident of Newton, died Wednesday evening at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.

Survivors are his wife, Opal; a son, Earl of Waldwick, N.J.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Alfred jorgensen of Mason City; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Bertha Atkinson of Fort Collins, Colo., Mrs. Ruth Morfitt of Cornelius, Ore.; and Mrs. Mabel Morrisson of Washington State.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin sister.

Mr. Watts was a trucker and farmer.

The son of William and Ida Pike Watts, he was born Sept. 8, 1901 at Rockwell City and was educated in Fonda schools.

He was married to Opal Reeves Nov. 1, 1926 at Newton. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Fri 10 Mar 1978.
