Louis E. Jolly, Former Colfax Resident, Dies

Colfax -- Louise Edwin Jolly, 70, of Haines City, Fla., a former resident of Colfax, died Saturday morning at Haines City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in Des Moines. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Inez R.; a sister, Annabel Acton of Sioux City; a brother, Eugene Jr. of Newton; a son, James of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Norman McCrea of rural Monroe; and five grandchildren.

The son of Eugene A. and Ethel Jollly, he was born in Oskaloosa and was graduated from Colfax Community Schools.

Mrs. Jolly also resided in Stuart for 10 years and in Des Moines for 30 years , moving to Florida in August, 1977. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly Newton Daily News, Newton Iowa Mon 10 Apr 1978.
