Stephen Loran Burt, 63, of Clinton, Ark., died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015. He was born March 18, 1952, to Lawrence and Elizabeth Vander Ecken Burt in Chariton.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Elizabeth Burt; stepdaughter, Teresa and husband Steve Hall; brother Stan and wife Dran Burt; step-grandsons, Corran Jack Hall and Jonah Jones; and step-granddaughter, Kayla and husband Dominic McNeely. He is also survived by step-great-grandchildren, Vada, Camren and Rosalee; nephews, Mason, Micah and Tyler Burt; and longtime friend and companion, Virginia Halverson; as well as other family and friends.
