Obituary of Louise Churchill

Louise Churchill, 84, passed away Monday evening, September 21, 2015, at Nelson Manor Health Care in Newton, under the care of Skiff Hospice. A Time of Remembrances for Louise, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, conducted by Pastor John Patterson. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery. A time of Fellowship and Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorials have been designated in Louise's name.

Louise Churchill, the daughter of Troy and Alma (Durham) Binns, was born February 14, 1931, in Oskaloosa. She was a graduate of the Oskaloosa Senior High School, Class of 1949. On February 19, 1950, Louise was united in marriage with Doyle Churchill in Oskaloosa. She devoted her life to her husband and family, and was a member of the Community Heights Alliance Church. Those left to honor Louise's memory include her husband Doyle; her daughters: Jolane "Jo" Williams of Augusta, Georgia and Jane (Bruce) Keith of Newton; her two grandchildren Craig (Angie) Keith and Carmen Keith; her three great-grandchildren Nate, Libbie and Bristol; a sister Lois Davis of Des Moines; her brother Gayle Binns of Knoxville; and her many friends.
