May 27, 1947 - September 4, 2015

Billie Riggan, age 68 of Colfax, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Colfax United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Earl W. and Lillie E. (Garrett) Kintz, Billie was born on May 27, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Saydel Schools.

On February 27, 1965, she was united in marriage to Dean Riggan.

Billie worked for several years as a CNA Med Aid and Medical Clerk at Mitchell Village in Mitchellville. She also worked at Casey's in Colfax. Billie enjoyed bowling, going to Prairie Meadows, and her "Sister" shopping trips. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dean; three daughters, Kim (Steve) Belloma, Jackie (Paul) Deaton, and Bobbie Good; special friends, Ned and Cindy, Bill Good and Marge Gillihan; grandchildren, Chelsie Crady, Ashley Crady, Brooke Bridges, Nick Bridges, Jesica (Jonnie Stevenson) Jones, Rian Good and Derrick Thomas; four great grandchildren, Olivia Rausch, Graham Clark, Lillie Hellickson, Jonnie Jones, and Miss Grace Jones. Also surviving are three sisters, Almeta (Bill) Hill, Pam (Jerry) Ingraham and Karen (Craig) Clark; a sister-in-law, Joyce Sanchez and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, James and Robert. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa Fri 4 Sept 2015.
