Bonnie L. Weyers, age 68 of Newton, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Private family graveside services will be held at McKeever Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family and mailed to the family or to Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The daughter of Andrew and Edith (Anderson) Maddison, Bonnie was born on January 23, 1947 in Runnells. She graduated from Mingo High School in 1965. On October 19, 1984, she was united in marriage to Carroll Weyers at the Metz Church. Bonnie enjoyed collecting dolls and books. One of her greatest loves was animals and caring for them.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Carroll of Newton; three step children, Paul Weyers of Killduff, Jackie Verwers of Ankeny and Carlyn Petted of Newton; two step grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Birkenholtz of Newton, Doris Emerson of Colfax, and Rosemary Lamb of Mingo as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Richard Maddison. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 17 Aug 2015.
