Margaret "Maggie" L. (Ressler) McCoy, 83, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of St. Catherine, IA, passed away July 10, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband Dr. William "Bill" McCoy (1977 Quiet Lane, 52302), their eight children, Tammy Fondell, Sitka, AK.; Mike McCoy, Marion; Kevin McCoy, Palmer Lake, CO.; Shelly (Jeff) Umrysz, Mystic CN.; Jeff (Jean) McCoy, Cashton, WI.; Molly (Brian) Omann, Sequim, WA.; Becky (Mike) Schulte, Cedar Rapids, IA.; Lisa Schroeder, Cedar Rapids, IA. And her brother LeLand (Sue) Ressler, Fairport, NY. Fifteen grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Katherine Ressler, her brother Jack, and her son-in-law Chris Fondell.

Maggie was born in Newton, Iowa and grew up in Des Moines. Maggie and Bill met while attending The University of Iowa and were married February 2, 1957.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 15th at noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Key West Dubuque with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.~ The Dubuque Today, Dubuque, Iowa 10 Aug 2015.
