Those left to honor Wilma’s memory are her sons, Mike Lane of Newton, Tim Lane of Peterson and Jim (Liz) Lane of Pleasant Hill; nine grandchildren, Lisa, Lori, Lacey, Kelly, Shannon, Sarah, Drew, Derek and Abigail, many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, and many cousins, including her cousin, Virginia Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George; son, Larry; grandson, Adam Lane; brother, Wayne L. Bagnall; and two sisters, Marcella Lane and Ruth Dennis.

Wilma was a graduate of Newton High School in 1942.

Wilma retired as manager of the Holiday Inn in Newton.

Wilma was the former choir director of the Metz Church.
She enjoyed flower gardening and doing ceramics.
