OAKLAND - Judith (Johns) Fritz, 84, of Oakland, mother of Jane and David Wendel of Newton, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Oakland.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Oakland United Methodist Church in oakland. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

An open visitation will be held at Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland starting on Saturday at 9 a.m. The family will not be present at a specific time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be give to the Oakland United Methodist Church or the Oakland Manor Nursing Home. ~ The Newton Daiy News, Fri 15 Aug 2003.
