COLFAX – Sally Jean Shepley, 68, of Colfax died Wednesday, Oct 22, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. At the First Baptist Church in Colfax with the Rev. Dan DuRocher officiating. Burial will e at Colfax Cemetery. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Today at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Orville and Hazel (Smith) Shepley, she was born Dec. 3, 1934, in rural Colfax. She lived for a time in Kensett, but lived most of her life in Colfax.

Survivors include a sister, Judy Lafferty of Colfax; three brothers, Kenny Shepley of Runnells, Donald Shepley of Colfax, and Carol Shepley of South Bend, Ind.
