"Mr. Robert Rogers, who formerly belong to Maccan Station, died at his home in Colfax, Iowa, U.S.A. on the 9th inst., at the age 67 years. Some years ago, he had a stroke of paralysis, from which he never fully recovered. All day before his death he was about the house as well as he had been for some time. The deceased was at one time a resident of Amherst and with his family left Amherst six years ago for Iowa, where he has since resided. He leaves a wife and three sons and three daughters to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. Mrs. Rogers belongs to Amherst, and is a sister of Mr. A.J. Simpson and Mrs. D. Scott."
