Eunice Stevens, 84, of Newton died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Skiff Medical Center there. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton, with burial at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Manchester, Tenn., and lived in Newton since 1934. She retired from the Dunlap Co.

A son, Jimmy of Newton, survives.

Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Caregivers Association. ~ The Newton Daily news, Newton, Iowa Fri 1 Aug 1997.
