KENOSHA, Wis. – Funeral services for Donna J. Smith Trottier, 60, of 6611 20th Ave., Kenosha, a former resident of Newton, were held Thursday, March 5, at the First United Methodist Church in Kenosha. Burial was in Kenosha.

Bruch Funeral Home in Kenosha handled arrangements.

She died recently at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kenosha.

Survivors are her husband, Harold; three sons, Jimmy and Clayton, both of Kenosha, and Clifford of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Loretta (Mrs. Roger) Behnke, Elizabeth Trottier and Penny (Mrs. Robert) Brackney, all of Kenosha, and Karen Hargraves of Janesville, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four sisters, Blanche (Mrs. Loren) Fifer of Waukesha, Wis., Mary Ann (Mrs. Kenny) Barrick and Charlene Hemminger, both of Modesto, Calif., and Betty (Mrs. Bud) Skaggs of Newton.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Mrs. Trottier, a homemaker, was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The Arthritis Foundation and Abolish Barriers for Lifetime Efficiency.

The daughter of Joe and Glennie E. Looker Smith, she was born Sept. 26, 1931 in Racine, Wis., and attended Schools in Kenosha and Newton Community High School in 1950.

She was married to Harold L. Trottier Aug. 6, 1950 in Newton. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 9 Mar 1992.
