LAKE SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Anne Bills, 86, of Lake San Marcos, Calif., a former resident of Newton, died Saturday, March 30, of congestive heart failure.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Survivors are a daughter, Beverly Duncan of Lake San Marcos’ two grandchildren, Chris Bailey and Anne Christianson of Newton; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, in 1977.

Mrs. Bills, who was born in Germany in 1905, had been a resident of Newton from 1943 to 1972. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 1 Apr 1991.
