BRADENTON, Fla. - Marjorie Davis Engeldinger, 77, of Bradenton, Fla., a native of Jasper County, died Friday, Feb. 22.

Memorial services will be held in Des Moines in the spring.

Memorials to the Jasper County Historical Museum will be accepted.

Survivors are her husband, Harvey Y.; a son, H. Y. Engeldinger Jr. of Des Moines; a daughter, Mary Bearman of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Eleanor Davis (Mrs. H. E.) Stratton of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom P. Davis, a brother, Tom D. Davis, and a sister, Mariam Davis Gibson.

Mrs. Engeldinger was active in the Des Moines League of Women Voters.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Davis, she was born June 20, 1913 in Colfax.

A 1931 graduate of Newton Community High School, she attended Stephens College at Columbia, Mo., and Iowa State University in Ames.
