Phillip Dion Keicher, 45 of Roland, Iowa passed away May 28, 2014 at home.A luncheon in Remembrance of his Life will be held on Saturday, June 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Boline-Manfredi VFW Post 9662 (1309 NE 66th Avenue) Des Moines, Iowa.

Phillip was born October 6, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert F. and Phyllis (Veldhuizen) Keicher Jr. and grew up around the Colfax-Mingo area. Phillip married Christy DeMeyer October 7 1989, had a son Kaleb and daughter Miranda but were later divorced.

He was an avid Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan, enjoyed camping and his greatest passion was driving semi for various trucking companies.

Phillip will be greatly missed by his son Kaleb (Ashley) of Ozark, MO., daughter Miranda (Greg Davis) of Ozark, MO., two grandsons Carson Keicher and Brentley Davis; mother Phyllis of Colfax, Iowa, Brother David (Renee) of Mitchelllville, Iowa, two neices Natasha and Kailee Keicher; Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceeded in death by his father Robert, brother Michael, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

Phillip is also survived by a wife, daughter and stepson. ~ The Des Moines Register Legacy, Des Moines, Iowa 7 June 2014.
