Cresse W. Copenhaver
Cresse W. Copenhaver, 72, of 412 S. 2nd Ave. E., a former office manager at Skiff Medical Center for a number of years, died Sunday evening, June 5, at her home
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Reese Chapel.
The Rev. Beryl Knutsen of Rock Creek, a retired Lutheran minister, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Palo Alto Cemetery,
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.
Survivors are a daughter Sylviana (Mrs. John) Terpstra of Newton; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother William Benjamin of Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne, and a brother Ben Hopkins.
Mrs. Copenhaver, who also had operated the Happy Time Lounge and Restaurant in Gladbrook, had lived in Union Lake at Gladbrook before returning to Newton in 1983.
She was born Sept 6, 1915.
Mrs. Copenhaver was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
