DES MOINES - Cecile L. Peterson De Reus, 87, of Hillside Convalescent Home in Des Moines, a former longtime resident of Mingo and Colfax, died Monday, may 13, at the home.

Graveside rites will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ashton Chapel Cemetery, north of Mingo.

The Rev. Karen Nichols-Dungan, pastor of the Mingo United Methodist Church, will conduct services.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Ralph.

The Daughter of William and Nellie Peterson, she was born Jan. 12, 1904 in Persia.

She was married to Howard De Reus April 16, 1924 in Newton. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Tues 14 May 1991. =============================================
