Anita Ann Dutton, age 78 of Colfax, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church in Colfax and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

Anita was born on May 17, 1937, to D. Wayne and Nellie (Baird) Caylor of Udell, Iowa. She attended Udell High School and McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. After college she worked at the Maytag Company in Newton, and later moved to Denver, Colorado and worked for the Martin Missile Company. She later worked at the Daily Iowegian Newspaper and Nurse Force both in Centerville, Iowa. While living in Denver, she met and married Raymond F. Dutton, Jr. of Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Anita is survived by her husband, Ray; her two sons, Francis of Cedar Rapids and Bradley of Des Moines and one grandson, Erik.

Anita enjoyed bird watching, music of all kinds and playing organ and piano at church and at home. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 17 June 2015.
