Mrs. Lena Jones Died June 12th

Mrs. Thomas J. (Lena O.) Jones, 86, former Colfax area resident, died Friday, June 12, 1970, at her home in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax, Monday June 15, 1970 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Mark Weston, pastor of the United Methodist Church at Ankeny, officiated

The bearers were Robert Beals, Victor Davis, Frank W. Evans, John Evans, Edwin Jones, and Glen Olson

Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.

The daughter of James and Anna Emmons Olson, she was born July 3, 1883 in Nevada.

She was married to Thomas J. Jones in Denver, Colo. Mr. Jones preceded her in death in 1938.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Hawkeye Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Des Moines.

Surviving are three brothers, Ed Olson of Juliet, Ill., O. B. Olson of Cornation, Ontario, Canada and Andrew Olson of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews
