Those left to honor Janice’s memory are her aunts, Beulah McDaniel of Clarence, Iowa, Virginia Patterson of Newton and Wanda Larson of Silverton, Oregon; many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, several aunts and uncles.

Janice was a graduate of Newton High School in 1959.

Janice was a retired secretary; she had worked at Cline Tool & Service Company for many years.

Janice enjoyed music having played organ at the Evangelical Free Church for many years. She was a people person, keeping contact by phone or in person with people. Janice was a volunteer at the Jasper County Historical Museum and at the Community Theatre.

Memorials to the Evangelical Free Church in Baxter or to the Pleasant View United Methodist Church in rural Newton may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.
