Mrs. J. P. Donahue's Mother Dies

Word was received here the first of the week of the death of the mother of Mrs. J. P. Donahue, and the following from the Louisville, Ky., Courier-Journal is self explanatory: "Mrs. Sally A. Hermany, 84 years old, widow of Chas. Hermany for 51 years Chief Engineer of the Louisville Water Co., died at 7:15 o'clock Christmas night at her home at 1124 S. 4th St.

Mrs. Hermany is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Owen Gathright and Mrs. Modeline Hermany of Louisville and Mrs. Jas. P. Donahue of Colfax; three grand children and one great grandson. For the past 54 years Mrs. Hermany lived at the 4th St. home. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Dec 1924.
