Mr. Dan Thurston died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Gearhart in Des Moines.

The people of Mingo will remember Mr. Dan Thurston, who lived here a few years ago. He passed away at her home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Gearhart in Des Moines.

Rev. Allon gave a short talk at the Union Chapel where he was buried Sunday afternoon. He was 98 years old. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 7 Nov 1933.
