Alex Clark Victim of Typhoid Fever
Alex Clark passed away at his home at Farmington, Iowa, Monday morning, March 14th, about 4 o'clock. He had been ill three weeks with typhoid fever, following influenza.
At the time of his passing, he was fifty years of age. He lived for a time at Seevers, but a good many years ago moved from this vicinity and since has made his home near Albia. Recently he has been operating a small mine at Farmington.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Ione and Maxine, and one son, Ellsworth, all of Farmington.
Two sons, Roy and Wesley, preceded him in death. Four sisters, Mrs. Florence Erickson, Mrs. Josephine Meeker, and Mrs. Jonas Mabie of Illinois, and Mary Cochrane of California, and six brothers, James Clark of Colfax, and Roy, William, Charles, George and Wesley Clark, all of whom reside in Illinois.
Funeral services were held from the church at Lovilla, Iowa, at 1:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and interment was had at Lovilla Cemetery. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 17 Mar 1932.
