COLFAX - Funeral services for Joe Taylor "Jack" Borts, 69, of Colfax, a longtime Colfax area farmer, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Tom Carpe, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, will conduct services.

Burial will be in Greencastle Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today and visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He died Wednesday at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Among survivors is a brother, Henry "Bud" of Colfax. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 17 Feb 1995.
