Saturday, October 18th, 2014 11:00amBecky, the daughter of Dale and Mary Lou (May) Johnson, was born January 29, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa. She grew up in Russell and was a graduate of Russell High School.
She was united in marriage with Fred Franck on August 22, 1969, in Russell. She worked at Bandag for several years, where she was a marketing manager. She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, computers, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James “Jim” Johnson, and a sister, Nancy Johnson.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Fred Franck of Newton; daughter, Amanda (Jarrett) Nicholson of the Cayman Islands; and her siblings: Esther (Larry) Clark, Dan (Roxanne) Johnson, and Rose (Gary) Kline.
