Memorial Service At the funeral home
Saturday, May 9th, 2015 11:00am

David Alan White, 55, of Newton died on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Skiff Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials in David’s name may be left at the funeral home.

David, the son of James W. and Karen (Harlow) White, was born on March 11, 1960 in Kirksville, Missouri. He was a long time resident of Newton, Iowa. David graduated from high school and served his country as a truck operator in the Army National Guard.

David was united in marriage with Cynthia Snell on November 10, 1995 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. He attended college in Fort Dodge to receive his Class A CDL and most recently was working as a truck driver for JBS in Marshalltown. David enjoyed camping, fishing, model cars, and working on vehicles. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. David was also very proud of his Cherokee and Blackfoot Indian heritage.

Those left to honor David’s memory are his wife, Cindy White of Newton; children, Jean White (Jordan Crews) of Brooklyn, Chelsea (Jeff) Snyder of Sheldaho, David White (Bridget Lampson) of Grinnell, Ray (Kayla) Chubbuck of Prairie City, Krista Breckenridge (Jon McGinnis) of Newton, Alan White of Newton, and Steven (Erin) Kibbee of Newton; his children he loved as his own, Ashley (Jay) Durant of Newton, Abby Lewiston of Des Moines, and Jaimie Dupee of Montezuma; grandchildren, Heather, Maxine, Alana, Destiny, Landon, McKenna, Garrett, Lilly, and Shakeira; his grandchildren he loved as his own, Kaeshawn, Nicole, and Steven; his many brothers and sisters including Wesley White, Kenneth White, Richard White, Jamie White, and Rebecca White; and his many nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James White; mother, Karen Harlow; and children he loved as his own, David and Dakota Stattelman. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 2 May, 2015
