Funeral Services Held Monday From Cutter-Hartnett Chapel

Harry Paschal, 78, former Colfax resident, died Friday evening in Des Moines following an illness of several weeks' duration.

Born Dec. 23, 1861, at Muscatine, Mr. Paschal came to Colfax with his parents when seven years of age, and worked on the farm east of this city, later operating a livery stable here. Before his retirement a few years ago, he worked in the tool shop of the Rock Island railroad at West Des Moines.

At the time of h is death Mr. Paschal was 70 years, 5 months and 28 days of age.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dot Silisby of Des Moines with whom he made his home, a son, Glenn, also of Des Moines, a brother, S. C. Paschal of Colfax, besides many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Cutter-Hartnett Funeral chapel Monday afternoon with the Rev. H. White officiating.

Music was furnished by John A. Davis with Mrs. H. J. Eastman accompanist.

Burial was in the Colfax cemetery. ~ Probably a Colfax paper, July 4, 1941.
