Sully - Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil (Mary Rebecca) Pinegar, 73, a resident of Jasper County since 1930, will be held at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church west of Sully.

The Rev. A. L. Schultz, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today, Dec. 28, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

Mrs. Pinegar died Thursday, Dec. 27 [1984], at the Heritage Manor in Newton.

Survivors are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Herman (Grace) Lausterer of Quincy, Ill.; and a brother, John Thomas of Oxnard, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Pinegar was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.

The daughter of John J. and Viola Goucher Thomas, she was born March 8, 1911 at Horton, Kan.

She was married Dec. 23, 1923 in Omaha, Neb. ~ Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa, Dec. 18, 1984.
