Lavall "Bud" Theodore Herzog, 83, of Keaau, Hawaii, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Baxter, April 20, 1931. He was the proprietor of Bud's Cabinets, a member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Jesus) Arquitola of Keaau, Hawaii, Laura (Mark) Ferreira of Pahoa, Hawaii, and Terri (Barry) Johnson of Polk City; son, Ted Herzog of Keaau, Hawaii; two sister, Phyllis Hopkins of Mesa, Ariz., and Linda (Randall) Timm of Lyndhurst, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 15-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. ~ Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa, Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015
