Sean Postma

Sean F. Postma, passed away Tuesday morning, February 17, 2015, at his home in Colfax, under the care of Unity Point Hospice. Funeral services for Sean are pending, at the Pence~Reese Funeral Home in Newton, who have been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials in Sean's name are being designated.

Sean Forrest Postma, 41, the son of Jerry and Kaye J. (Kingery) Postma, was born September 29, 1963, in Newton. He was a graduate of the Baxter Senior High, Class of 1982. Sean was employed as as a scheduler for Marzett's Frozen Pasta, for 23 years.

On June 28, 1997, Sean was united in marriage with Sherri Wallis in Colfax. He devoted his life to his family, and enjoyed music, Minnesota Vikings, the outdoors, making people laugh and Life in general.

Sean was preceded in death by his mother Kay J. Postma on September 20, 2010; his grandparents and one aunt.

Those left to honor Sean's memory include his wife Sherri; his dad Jerry Postma; his sisters: Kirsten Postma and Gretchen (Les) Hall; sisters-in-law: Sue (Chet) Wallis and Amy (Daryl) Catlette; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. ~ The Pence Reese Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 17 Feb 2015.
