Mrs. Herman Storck Dies Monday Morning
Mrs. Henry Storck died at her home in Mariposa township Monday morning. Influenza is assigned as the cause of her death. She had been sick but a few days.
Mrs. Storck, whose maiden name was Reka Oleimeier, was born in Germany June 1, 1842. She came to America in 1881, coming directly to Mariposa township, this county, which has been her home ever since. She was married forty-six years ago to Henry Storck, who died February 18, 1916.
Mrs. Storck was a devoted member of the German Reformed church. She is survived by three children, Herman Storck, Newton; Gus Storck, of Mariposa township; and Mrs. Herman Schnathorst, Newton. One brother, Henry Oleimeier, in Germany, also survives. Besides there are four grandchildren, three children of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schnathorst and one child of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Storck.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the home. Burial will be made in the cemetery near the German Reformed church in Mariposa township.
