Helen McClung, 87, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Union Park Health Services in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Iles Westover Chapel. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Helen was born January 24, 1927 in Newton, Iowa. On March 15, 1944 she married Max McClung. Helen worked in food service for the VA Hospital in Des Moines for 28 years. She enjoyed walking and gardening.

Survivors include her sons: Michael McClung of Knoxville, TN, Raymond McClung of West End, NC, David McClung of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband.
