"Mr. Edwin M. Streeter died at his home in Clear Creek township yesterday about noon, a victim of cancer of the face with which he had been a sufferer for years. He was aged about 65 years and had been a resident of that locality since 1856. He was a member of the 40th Iowa regiment and a good soldier. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters. The funeral will be at the Ashton chapel tomorrow at 2 p.m. and in the little chapel graveyard the body will be laid to rest."
