MABEL E. TOOL, 88, of Monroe died of a heart ailment Monday at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will be at Silent City Cemetery there. Mrs. Tool, a homemaker, was born in Greenfield and lived in the Monroe area most of her life. Surviving are a daughter, Doris Webber of Unionville, MO.; two sons, James of Monroe and Kenneth of Reasnor; two sisters, Leona Van Norden of Belle Plaine and Lexie Wright of Hampton; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Reasnor Rescue Unit.
