Kellogg Man Dies Suddenly
Bridegroom of Four Months Found Dead From Heart Trouble by Young Bride
Special to The Daily News
KELLOGG, Iowa, June 2 – To return home after a hour’s visit with an aunt to find her husband of but four months dead on the porch of their home, was the experience of Mrs. Milton Munse, of near here this morning. This was their wedding anniversary, they having been married four months today.
She had visited but a short while and came home to find Mr. Munse on the porch. She attempted to arouse him but found that he had died a short time before. Physicians were called and it was found that he had died from heart trouble and had not met with foul play or died from unnatural causes as was at first anticipated.
For sometime he had been suffering from attacks with his heart and it is thought that during Mrs. Munse’s absence he probably had been taken ill and died before he could summon help.
Prior to his marriage Mr. Munse had resided near Newton but for the past four months he and his young bride have been farming northwest of Kellogg. He was around 21 years of age and one of the popular young farmers of the community. His bride was prior to her marriage Miss Grace Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Foster.
No funeral arrangements have as yet been announced.
