August Worth Dies Here Today
Funeral Services to Be Conducted Friday Afternoon At Home and at Kellogg Christian Church.

Kellogg, Iowa, June 11 – August Worth, pioneer settler of this county died Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at the Skiff hospital in Newton where he had been taken a couple of weeks ago for treatments.

For the past several months, Mr. Worth has been in hospitals in Rochester, Minnesota, the university hospital at Iowa City and sanitariums in other points in search of health. Some months ago he underwent an operation and since then he has been growing gradually worse.

It will be with a feeling of sorrow that the many friends of Mr. Worth will hear of his passing. He has been one of the leading agriculturists of the county, having lived for many years on a farm south of Kellogg in the Pleasant View church neighborhood.

He leaves besides his widow, three children, Mary Worth, P. G. and Chris Worth, all at home.
Funeral services for Mr. Worth will be conducted at 1 o’clock at the home Friday afternoon and at 1:30 o’clock at the Christian church in Kellogg.
Rev. Lowe, of Des Moines, will conduct the services.

Burial will be made in the Kellogg cemetery.
