Douglas Ray Fields, age 51 of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born in Newton, Iowa on December 30, 1962, to Wilbur and Kathryn (Corbett) Fields in Newton, Iowa. After graduating from Colfax High School he went to work for Maytag Appliances.

He is survived by his brothers; Gary (Arlene) Fields of Branson West, Missouri; Gerold (Chris) Fields of Prairie City; Michael (Fields of Colfax and David (Laurie) Fields of Council Bluffs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Kathryn and an infant brother, Dennis. No services will be held. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 8 Oct 2014.
