Zickel Services Tuesday at 3:30 in Newton

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Zickel, who died Sunday noon at St. Francis hospital, Brinnell, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 at the Morgan and Son funeral home. Rev. L. Churchill Austin will be in charge.

Employed in the Maytag company offices for 10 years, Mrs. Zickel was associated with her father for a number of years at the Miller Westbrook dry good store here, and at a store in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Zickel, daughter of Charles B. and Harriet (Morgan) Westbrook, was born March 1, 1890, in Newton. She attended Newton high school, and was married to Frank Zickel June 3, 1940. Surviving are her husband and father.

The Killduff male quartet will sing at the funeral services. Pallbearers are Jacob Herwehe, Garret Jokems, Harold Forsyth, Willie Pickens, Will Herrington, and Jay Lambert. Burial will be in Newton Union cemetery. Mrs. Carl Zimmerman and Mrs. LeMotte Eustice will be in charge of flowers. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, June 9, 1947.
