October 6, 1939 - October 11, 2013

On October 11, 2013 Dorothy Evelyn Mitchell Jobst formerly of Kahoka, Mo went to be with her Lord and maker leaving her home in Garner N.C. Dorothy was born October 16, 1939 to George Amon Mitchell and Mary Ellen James Mitchell. On August 9, 1980 she married Kevin Barry Jobst.

Dorothy will always remain in the hearts of her family which includes her brother George Mitchell Jr (Edythe) of Findley, Ohio, daughters Tina Sawyer Carrillo (Richard) of Lake Forest, CA, Mary Beth Sawyer Magovsky (Neil) of Kyle, Tx, Leisa Sawyer Wilson (Ron) of Olathe, KS, JonAnn Sawyer Danielson of St Claire Shores, MI and Sherri Sawyer Huffman (Mark)of Newton, Iowa ,and one son Dale Amon Fulk (Jennifer) of Port Charlotte, FL.

Dorothy’s love was also extended to her grandchildren and great grandchildren Tabitha Wollam Brundage (Michael) and Connor, Zachary & Lorelai, Joshua Wollam, KiaLea Wollam of Ca, Heidi Heidbreder Spahn and Emily, Dustin Heidbreder, Michael Heidbreder and Hannah of Tx, Dawn Wilson Downing and Caleb & Lacey ,Jennifer Wilson and Landon & Everett, April Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, Nick Wilson, Curtis Wilson, Grace Wilson, Randy Wilson of KS, Keri Calamita Chipman (Michael) and Ethan, Amelia & Lucas, Nicole Calamita of Mi, Carley Danielson and Braelynn of Il, Sampson Snedden of Idaho, Sarah Snedden Schrader (Brandon) Jake, Johna, Wyatt, Paisley & Maverick of Iowa, TaraLynn Snedden Svejda(Dustin) Hayden, Adrianna & Trinity of Il, Kara Sawyer and Charlie of Iowa.

Dorothy also will be missed by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary, half sister Penny, niece Sheila, nephew Donald and three of her great grandchildren Donavan, Dominick and Elise.

A memorial at Kahoka Cemetery will be held for close friends and family at 11 Am on May 10, 2014. A picnic will be held at Omakohak park at 11:30, feel free to stop by to reminisce with the family.
