Justin Matthew McBride, 37, of Newton, formerly of Colfax died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at his home in Newton.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials in Justin’s name may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home; please add, Attn: McBride Family on the envelope.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Judy McBride of Colfax; sister Jessica (Bailey Dannels) McBride of Colfax; brother Josh McBride of Colfax; his niece and nephew, Cameron McBride of Colfax and Destiny McBride-Dannels of Colfax; grandfather, Charles Hyke of Waterloo; three aunts and three cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Mary Ellen McBride; grandmother, Beverly Hyke; and an uncle in infancy.

Justin was born September 5, 1976. He was a graduate of Colfax-Mingo High School in 1995.
Justin worked at Hy-Vee in Newton; where he was a cashier, and worked in the dairy and frozen departments.
Justin loved music, he was an avid collector of sports caps and jerseys, and enjoyed sports. He was a New England Patriots and New York Yankees Fan.
